Winning Lottery Jackpot Remains Unclaimed

Someone who purchased a lottery ticket in northern Michigan is a multi-millionaire and may not even know it.

Lottery officials say a $3.5 million Lotto 47 jackpot is still unclaimed, six months after the winning ticket was bought at the Pellston General Store in Pellston during the heart of the winter sports season.

One ticket matched the six Lotto 47 numbers drawn on January 17 – 04-06-16-26-33-36 – to win the game’s $3.5 million jackpot.

The ticket holder has one year from the drawing date to claim the prize at the Lottery’s headquarters in Lansing.
