Nearly 70% of Michigan voters say Michigan lawmakers should act to protect people from being fired for their sexual orientation and their religious beliefs. The survey was conducted by Lansing-based Marketing Resource Group. The poll also revealed that Democrats, Independents and Republicans all agree on the issue. Conservative, moderate and liberal voters also agree that people should be protected.
