Woman Attacks Boyfriend With Mounted Sailfish

A drunken argument in the West Michigan town of Whitehall early Sunday morning ended when a man was hit with a mounted sailfish.

Police say the 58-year old woman got angry at her 61-year old boyfriend and hit him over the head with the fish and poked him with the nose of the fish.

MLive reports his hand was cut, but otherwise he came away unscathed.

The woman was not arrested.

The Muskegon County Prosecutor’s Office will review the case and decide whether or not to proceed with charges.

Police say both of them had been drinking.
