The unofficial results of Saturday’s Keweenaw Bay Indian Community Primary Election are in.
The top four candidates in the Baraga District were Incumbent Warren “Chris” Swartz, Jr. along with Fred Dakota, Sue Ellen Elmblad and Thomas E. Chosa, Jr.
Incumbent Don Messer, Jr. finished sixth in the voting.
In the L’Anse District, the top four vote getters were the Incumbents Susan J. LaFernier and Jennifer Misegan along with Tracy L. Emery and Kevin Perrault.
The top four candidates in each district will face off in the general election.
