An Iron River man pled guilty to a lesser charge stemming from an alleged road rage incident. 67-year-old Donald Rymkos admitted to attempted fleeing and eluding in the fourth degree May 12. He was originally charged with fleeing in a eluding in the fourth degree. An additional charge of driving with a suspended license was dismissed. Rymkos was arrested by the Iron County Sheriff’s Office in February after deputies tried to stop his vehicle on U.S. 2 in Iron River after seeing signs of road rage. Police say Rymkos did not stop, and the pursuit continued for thirteen miles.
He will be sentenced June 2.
