Benishek Blasts EPA

Congressman Dan Benishek is voicing his displeasure with the Environmental Protection Agency’s latest Greenhouse Gas Emissions Regulations. Benishek says regulators in Washington don’t realize how the proposal will kill jobs in Northern Michigan. Dr. Benishek recently signed a letter to the EPA urging them to extend the comment period so that all affected parties have an opportunity to voice their concerns. The EPA recently proposed rules for the New Source Performance Standard for regulating greenhouse gas emissions from existing coal-based power plants.
