Isle Royale, Michigan—The Isle Royale & Keweenaw Parks Association and the George Wright Society are awarding a college scholarship in memory of former Hancock resident, Bob Linn, a founding member of both organizations. Bob was chief naturalist for Isle Royale National Park for many years before becoming chief scientist for the National Park Service in Washington, DC. The Bob Linn Scholarship pays tribute to Bob by providing financial assistance to students interested in nature and the environment.

They should have received college acceptance with plans to major in natural resources, forestry, biological, earth or environmental sciences or a related field. They should also have an interest in nature and the environment as demonstrated by letter and recommendations.
