Michigan Boating Week

Governor Rick Snyder encourages Michigan residents and visitors to experience the many boating opportunities the state has to offer as he declared this week to be Michigan Boating Week. According to the Michigan Boating Industries Association, Michigan is the third-largest boating market in the country and the boating industry has a $7.4 billion economic impact on the state’s economy. June 14, the final day of Michigan Boating Week, is also National Marina Day.
