An Ontonagon man who was originally charged with four felony counts, will instead serve time on two misdemeanor charges.
51-year-old Timothy Pietila pled no contest to charges of careless discharge of a firearm and possession, under the influence.
He was sentenced Tuesday to 78 days in jail with credit for 22 days served.
Pietila had been charged with attempted murder and first degree criminal sexual conduct.
