Social Media Posts May Affect College Admissions, Job Opportunities

If your child is heading off to college or preparing to enter the workforce, you may want to remind them to review their social media posts.

That’s because college admissions officers and prospective employers are looking, this according to the founder of Social U, a social media management program, Julie Fisher.

Fisher says they’re likely to pass on anyone with posts that are discriminatory, violent or related to illegal activity.
