The Keweenaw National Historical Park and the Western U.P. Health Department invite the public to a free group bike ride to historical points of interest tomorrow.
The ride will take place from 6pm to 7pm and begin at Cross Country Sports on Oak Street in Calumet.
The bike tour is the 14th event in a series of Step Into History activities hosted by the Keweenaw NHP and WUPHD through a grant from the National Park Foundation’s Active Trails program.
The park was one of 25 national parks selected to receive a 2016 Active Trails grant from the National Park foundation.
The park, in partnership with the health department, is hosting 15 walks and other healthy activities throughout 2016.
Participants should dress for the weather and wear bike helmets.
