The Michigan Interscholastic Athletic Administration Association has recognized Calumet High School with the Exemplary Program Award.
Calumet High School is only the 22nd recipient in the State of Michigan of this prestigious award since its inception in 2000 and is the only U.P. school to earn this distinction.
The MIAAA Exemplary Athletic Award Program honors schools that model equity, excellence and a commitment to all student-athletes.
The CLK Board of Education commended Athletic Director Sean Jacques and school district staff at their October meeting for making this award possible.
