Joint Houghton & Hancock City Council Meeting Tonight

There will be a special joint meeting of the Houghton and Hancock City Councils this evening at 6pm at the Lakeshore Center in Houghton.

The councils will be discussing an amendment to and restatement of the Tax Increment Financing and Development Plan of the LDFA of the Cities of Houghton and Hancock

A public hearing on the proposed 15-year extension of the plan will be held prior to the councils voting on their respective resolutions.

There will also be an opportunity for the public to address both city councils and as well as a presentation from the MTEC Smartzone.
