Hunting Provides Economic Boon To Michigan

New figures from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service estimates hunting in Michigan has a $2.3 billion economic impact in the state.

About $1.3 billion of that is spent on equipment, while other expenses are related to food and lodging.

Opening day is November 15th, more than 525,000 hunters are expected to participate in firearms season.
