Firearms Deer Season Means Big Bucks For Michigan’s Economy

More than 500,000 deer hunters are hitting the fields of Michigan over the next couple of weeks for firearm deer season.

It generates more than $2.3 billion for the state economy.

But, state DNR deer program biologist Ashley Autenrieth, cautions hunters to keep safety in mind.

Autenrieth says we’ll have some pretty warm weather for the season.

The firearm season ends November 30th.
