The Houghton City Council will hold a special organizational meeting this evening at the City Center.
The results of last Tuesday’s election will be read and the elected members will be sworn in.
That will include Philip “Buck” Foltz…who ran unopposed to fill the seat being vacated by the retirement of Councilman Craig Kurtz.
The council will also elect a mayor and mayor pro-tem for two-year terms.
The meeting is open to the public and begins at 7:30pm.
