New Michigan State Police Graduates Begin Work

28 new Michigan State Police troopers begin their new jobs this week.

The new troopers, who graduated Friday, will be working at posts throughout the state.

The group went through 24 weeks of training in firearms, water safety, patrol techniques, ethics, first aid, and crime scene processing among other things.

Another trooper recruit school is tentatively scheduled to start in June.
