Atlantic Mine Man Arrested On Multiple Drug Charges

Detectives from the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team (UPSET) arrested a 28 y/o Atlantic Mine man Friday on several charges related to the selling of narcotics.

After a five month long investigation the suspect was arrested on one count of Delivery of Methamphetamine, one count of Delivery of Heroin and one count of Delivery of Dilaudid.  Count one and two are 20 year felonies and count three is a 7 year felony.

The suspect is lodged in the Houghton Co Jail and his name is being withheld pending his arraignment in 97th District Court.  The investigation is ongoing and other charges are expected.
