Contract Nearly Finalized For New Calumet Police Chief

An announcement is expected soon naming a new police chief for the Village of Calumet.

Details of the contract are being finalized.

When complete, the offer will reportedly be extended to former part-time village police officer Keith Anderson.

Anderson was one of the candidates considered last year when the village hired former Zilwaukee police chief Joel Dobis, who was terminated in January.
