UPPCO Call Center Accessible for Consumers

With winter quickly approaching, U.P. Power Company (UPPCO) is highlighting resources that may be available to citizens through the U.P. 2-1-1 Call Center.  “2-1-1” is an easy telephone number to remember that connects Upper Peninsula citizens to important information, services and assistance, including help with home heating.

Jodi Formolo, Director of Customer Service at UPPCO said… “U.P. 2-1-1 is a great resource that people can turn to for information and assistance.” U.P. 2-1-1 is administered by UPCAP, a non-profit, charitable organization. U.P. residents can dial 2-1-1 from anywhere within the Upper Peninsula.

UPPCO is also highlighting the state’s Winter Protection Plan. The plan covers the period between November 1st  and March 31st,   and helps senior citizens and income-eligible customers manage utility bills and prevent service interruptions.
