The Houghton County Sheriff’s office responded to the call of a 1-vehicle accident around quarter to seven at Paradise Road near Pilgrim Road.
A 66-year-old woman reportedly lost control of her vehicle, striking several trees before coming to a stop.
She was taken to U.P. Health System—Portage for treatment.
Her condition was not reported.
Authorities say alcohol and speed are believed to be factors in the accident.
Hurontown Fire and Rescue, Mercy EMS and Superior Service Towing assisted on the scene.
