Christine M. Wiitanen-Garza, 52, a resident of Rockwood, MI and former Hancock resident passed away December 28, 2017, in Lower Michigan following a lengthy illness.
She was raised in Hancock, MI, daughter of David C. Wiitanen and the late Helen (Schaaf) Wiitanen. She was a graduate of the Hancock High School and has made her home in the Detroit area for the past 30 years.

Several aunts, uncles & cousins
A private memorial service will be held later this spring.
The Memorial Chapel & Plowe Funeral Homes of Hancock are assisting the family with the local arrangements.
