The city of Laurium will be home to a new restaurant this spring. Earlier this week, business partners Roger Reider and Amanda Kesti addressed the Laurium village council with their plans to open the seasonal restaurant in the building once occupied by Irish Times. The new restaurant will be named the Matador and will serve steaks, seafood, cocktails, and pizza and will also feature an outdoor dinning area. Reider brings over a decade of restaurant experience to his new business venture and anticipates opening the facility before mothers day.
