More than 102,000 people braved the winter weather Sunday to attend the final day of the 2014 North American International Auto Show, pushing the overall attendance record to an 11-year high. The Detroit News reports 803,451 people attended the auto show this year. Auto show spokesman Marc Harlow says it’s the first time that figure has exceeded 800,000 since 2003, when 838,066 people attended. The auto show featured 550 new cars, trucks and concept models from the Big Three automakers and other manufacturers.
