A Houghton native is being featured in an article by the US Navy highlighting hometown servicemen and women.
Lt. Jared Moberg is a dentist aboard the USS Frank Cable, an expeditionary submarine tender based in Guam.
He was a graduate of Concordia Academy in 2005 and has trained with the Marines and the Air Force.
Lt. Moberg is currently providing a critical maintenance capability to the U.S. Navy’s submarine force in the Pacific as part of a hybrid crew of sailors and civilian mariners.
