ONTONAGON, Mich. (Aug. 23, 2018)—There’s a lot to love about fall in the Porcupine Mountains and Ontonagon County, and a new campaign from the Porcupine Mountains Convention & Visitors Bureau (PMCVB) aims to show potential visitors just how much they can enjoy in the western U.P. this fall.

The PMCVB’s annual Fall in Love with the Porcupine Mountains Sweepstakes, which runs through Sept. 21, will reward one grand-prize winner with $200 toward a two-night or longer stay at a Porcupine Mountains/Ontonagon County lodging property and a state of Michigan recreation passport that can be used for admission to the Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park.

To enter, fans can visit the PMCVB’s website, www.porcupinemountains.com.

Campaign to add daytrip itineraries, share fall Instagram photos

During the promotion, the PMCVB will use its website and social media channels like Facebook to highlight different fall events and activities that visitors can find throughout the county.

The PMCVB will also add fall daytrip itineraries to its website that focus on different areas of interest for travelers—waterfalls, the best ways to see fall color and more.

Fans are also encouraged to share their fall photos of the Porcupine Mountains and Ontonagon County on the PMCVB’s Instagram accountby tagging the PMCVB (@porcupinemtnscvb) and using the hashtag #porkiesfall.
