M-26 Now Open

M-26 south of Mass City in Ontonagon County is now open to traffic.

The roadway had been detoured since October 8th for an ongoing Michigan Department of Transportation repair project.  MDOT is investing about $600,000 to repair settling of the westbound lane and shoulder of M-26 south of Mass City.

One lane of traffic is being maintained in alternating directions with a temporary traffic signal.  Both lanes are expected to be open to traffic by Thursday.
