Markkanen extends nomination deadline for Outstanding Educator Award

The deadline for nominations for the Outstanding Educator Award has been extended through May 6^th.

State Representative Greg Markkanen of Hancock recently launched the program, encouraging students, parents, and school faculty to nominate local educators who have made a meaningful impact on their community. 

Markkanen will select three educators from the district from among the nominations to be awarded on May 24^th.

Nominations can be submitted by following the “Outstanding Educator Award” tab at the top of the page at RepMarkkanen.com.
