Triple-A Michigan’s survey puts the Marquette region average at $2.68 per gallon. That’s three cents less than a week ago, 10 cents less than a month ago, and 25 cents less than a year ago.

The auto club projects that gas prices across the nation this Labor Day weekend will be the cheapest in the past three years.
