Wisconsin Trucker Killed in Crash

A semi-truck driver from Wisconsin was killed yesterday in a crash in Delta County.

State Police troopers say the man was hauling a load of hot tar on US-2 in Nahma Township around 10:30 am when the truck left the road and foundered in a ditch.

Bystanders began CPR. He was pronounced dead after first responders arrived at the scene.

An investigation continues, but officials believe that neither alcohol nor excessive speed were factors.
