Lake Superior Levels Projected to Remain High

There’s little relief in sight for those dealing with high Lake Superior water levels. The latest Army Corp of Engineers report says levels could remain at or near record highs well into next year.

New records were set in May, June, July, August and September. October’s level was just shy of the all-time mark set in 1985, but officials say the lack of the usual fall dip means the big lake could be setting records again early next year.
