Tonight’s Houghton City Council meeting will be the first for new City Manager Eric Waara and he’s got a lot on the docket. Among the resolutions that will need approval is a lot split on the Woodhaven Estates. The council will look to approve the water budget deficit plan. Also, the council must agree to allow Waara to be one of the names on the signature cards as well as making him the last person who must sign off on grant applications at the DNR.
