Meth Lab Discovered In Calumet Township

Last night authorities broke up a meth lab in Calumet Township.

Detectives from the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team, also known as “UPSET” performed a search warrant at a home on Caledonia Street.

UPSET had been tipped off that a meth lab, may have been in the house.

An abundance of paraphernalia, including over the counter drugs, used in the making of methamphetamines were discovered, and police also removed 11 five-gallon buckets of waste material from the home.

The investigation is on-going, and no arrests have been made.
