Record Snow for Marquette

November snow is nothing new for the Upper Peninsula, but the amount seen this year is for those to the east of the Copper Country. The National Weather Service says Marquette has passed its 1991 record for total snowfall, which had been 48.9 inches. The most recent number published by the Weater Service shows 50.8 inches for Marquette as of Tuesday, with a final total coming next week.
