Finlandia
The Finlandia University men’s soccer team has released its fall schedule. The Lions will play 16 games – just four at home, against Ripon, Northland, Holy Family and Maranatha Baptist. The season will open September 1st at Northland.
The team has also added a new recruit. Logan Moore played high school soccer at Thornapple-Kellogg High School near Middleville.
American Legion Baseball
The COVID-19 pandemic has claimed another sports season. The American Legion has canceled its baseball program for the summer, so there will be no games for the Copper Country Flames.
