Upper Peninsula Energy Task Force Begins Phase 2 Of Energy Analysis

Michigan’s Upper Peninsula Energy Task Force is beginning the second phase of their analysis of the U.P.’s energy needs now and in the future.

They are also finalizing their submission to Governor Whitmer on propane availability.

The task force will meet electronically on Monday, from 10am til noon.

Public feedback is encouraged.

During the 1st phase, over 800 citizens provided feedback to the task force.

They will also continue to focus on providing alternative energy sources for the U.P., with regards to security, reliability and environmental impact.
