Lake Linden Independence Day Celebration Falls Victim To COVID-19

COVID-19 Claims another Copper Country Celebration.

The Village of Lake Linden, along with the Lake Linden Volunteer Fire Department, has also issued a press release today, stating their Independence Day Celebration has been cancelled, due to concerns over the COVID-19 pandemic.

The uncertainty of State requirements for putting on an event of its size, coupled with preparations slowed due to current restrictions, have made it not possible to move forward with this year’s celebration.

They’ve thanked everyone for their support, and urge families to celebrate in their own way.

Village Clerk Bob Poirier pledged next year’s celebration, will be worth the wait.
