Former Copper City President Passes Away

Former Copper City Village President Fortunate Curtis, Sr.,has died. Curtis was a teacher in the Copper City, Centennial and Calumet school districts. He passed away Thursday in Port Charlotte, Florida, following a short illness. Funeral services have been set for Friday at the Erickson-Crowley-Peterson Funeral Home. Fortunate Curtis, Sr., was 89 years old. He is survived by his wife, Nathleen.
