The Rabbit Island School has extended the deadline for the 2020 scholarship application until the end of day, June 22nd.
Scholarship winners will be notified by June 29th.
Library staff will pick up to seven winners, for full scholarships, that cover travel, food, lodging and camping supplies when they spend a week on the island in August.

Rabbit Island’s 91 acres sits three miles east of the Keweenaw Peninsula, and has never been developed or subdivided.
Rabbit Island serves as a platform for science, art, preservation and recreation.
