Lake Linden-Hubbell Public School Foundation Bequeathed $2.5 Million

Two point Five million Dollars.

That’s what the Wayne and June Nester estate bequeathed the Lake Linden-Hubbell Public Schools Foundation, along with Lake Linden-Hubbell Public Schools.

The investment returns are earmarked for graduating seniors.

Foundation President Jennifer Roose thanked the Nesters, for being so thoughtful to the students, with their gift.

Wayne Nester graduated from Lake Linden-Hubbell High School back in 1925, where he would go on to coach and teach.

He was also inducted into the Lake Linden-Hubbell Athletic Hall of Fame back in 2017. 

Wayne and June moved to Florida after they retired.

The Lake Linden-Hubbell Public Schools Foundation was created in 1997, to support its public schools and to promote the educational and personal growth of its students.
