Home Invasion Case Bound to Circuit Court

The case of a woman involved in two seperate home invasion incidents in Houghton and Hancock is now bound over to circuit court. 25-year-old Amelia Emory appeared in Houghton County District Court earlier today on two counts first degree invasion involving an incident in Houghton at an apartment complex on Portage Street two weeks ago. She was also involved in a seperate incident in Hancock on Quincy Street. Her next court appearance is yet to be determined. Emory is currently lodged in the Houghton County Jail. Her bond is set at $50,000.
