Houghton County Fair Will Have Drive Through Food

When the Houghton County Fair Board decided to cancel this year’s fair, but still have the livestock show and sale, one of the biggest questions was “Will there be food?”

And the answer is yes.

This year Skerbeck Entertainment Group will be at the fair August 27th though the 30th, from 11a-7p with a socially distanced safe “Drive Through.”

Customers will stay in their vehicles, an attendant will have printed menus, and there will be one cashier for all transactions.

Car Hops will then put your order together and bring it to your car.

Skerbeck employees will be tested each day, and be wearing masks and gloves.

It’s asked you wear a mask as well.

Food items will include the traditional elephant ears, funnel cakes, deep fried oreos and more.

Food items will range between $3 and $10.
