Michigan Tech Finishes Baseline COVID-19 Testing For Students, Begins Surveillance Testing

This past Saturday, Michigan Tech completed it’s baseline testing program for students.

Over the past two weeks, 1,784 COVID-19 tests were performed, with 7 students coming back positive.

Some students are housed on campus, while some are not. 

Students housed on campus have been taken to isolation spaces.

Those who reside off campus, are isolating at home. 

The University’s Student Surveillance Testing Program starts today.
