Portage Lake District Library Now Checking Out Chromebooks

You can now check out a Chromebook for two weeks.

This in a press release from the Portage Lake District Library.

In order to check a Chromebook out, you must be a library card holder in good standing.

Chromebooks come with a carrying case and charger.

You can use the Chromebook at the library, or take it home.

It can be used for homework, job searching, research or just surfing the web.

The Portage Health Foundation has recently made dozens of free WiFi hotspots available to the community, by teaming up with UP.net, Peninsula Fiber Network and REMC1.
