There will be no official GLIAC football season, but schools may schedule up to five spring games on their own.

NHL

The National Hockey League is considering realigning its conferences for the upcoming season. Commissioner Gary Bettman disclosed some of the options the league is discussing for its upcoming season as part of a panel presentation on Tuesday. He said a one-year divisional realignment could help teams deal with travel restrictions between the United States and Canada. He also said that the league hopes to use home rinks as much as possible, but that the schedule will be adjusted to minimize travel. The NHL hopes to begin its season January 1st, but negotiations between team owners and players have not been completed.
