Last Year’s Winter Impacts Hancock’s Audit

The impact of last year’s historic winter is still being felt in the city of Hancock. The city’s audit was presented during last night’s council meeting and two funds were in the red: major and local street funds. The total deficit for both of those was about $110,000, which will now be bailed out courtesy of the General Fund. City Manager Glen Anderson says, otherwise, the city’s budget is in good condition.

The audit was presented by Rukkila/Negro and Associates.
