Michigan State troopers from the Calumet Post have received many complaints regarding the aggressive tactics of door to door salespeople. These people have been encouraging homeowners to sign contracts for essential services. Residents have also reported that they are using misleading information where customers believe they are receiving discounts for the services. Troopers say although the business may be legitimate, complaints have been filed to Better Business Bureau regarding this business. They also remind residents to always look over contracts carefully and try to seek third-party consultation when possible.
