Angel Mission Temporarily Suspends Accepting Item Donations

The future home of the Angel Mission Free Store.

Because of its upcoming move, the Copper Country Angel Mission in Calumet has temporarily stopped accepting donated goods.

Angel Mission Free Store co-manager Mike Quello tells us they need to vacate their current location by the end of the month. They will begin accepting donations again once they’ve relocated to their new building.

The Angel Mission recently purchased the former North End Bar, at the north end of Fifth Street. They are completing renovations, and preparing to relocate.

The Mission continues to raise funds to help complete the move. If you’d like to help, click here. You can also donate through their website, or by mail or personal delivery to their current location: Angel Mission, 119 Fifth Street, Calumet, MI 49913.
