Fall Color Season is underway, at least, according to the County Road Association of Michigan.
The Association has released its annual list of the best fall color drives in the state, noting that color is typically best in our region between now and October 8.

In Houghton County…
• Covered Drive and Freda Road in Stanton Township
• Calumet Waterworks Road
In Keweenaw County…
• Brockway Mountain Drive
• Lac La Belle Road
• Gratiot Lake Road
• Mohawk-Gay Road
• Eagle Harbor Road
• Cliff Drive
• Five Mile Point Road
In Ontonagon County…
• South Boundary Road at the Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park
No fall color drives were selected for Baraga County.
