Firm Looks to Make Roads Safer

A Lansing firm will work to make Midwest roadways safer through a new communications partnership with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. Pace Marketing & Communications, an advertising, marketing and public relations agency, has been awarded a new contract to help NHTSA promote its traffic safety programs in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio and Wisconsin. Pace will develop communications strategies to support NHTSA seat belt and anti-impaired driving campaigns. The agency will also work on other high-priority initiatives, which may include distracted driving, speeding, motorcycle and other traffic safety concerns. NHTSA Regional Region 5 Administrator Michael Witter said Pace has an impressive track record of developing campaigns targeted at helping influence behavior change to make our roadways safer.
